What kind of a sick joke is Carnival playing on me?

Waiting for a cruise is bad enough, especially when you book it over a year out.  So when I go to Carnival's website to check how many days left until our fantastic cruise, all I can do is gasp in horror at this sick joke Carnival is playing on me. 

For that reason, I have now installed a ticker of our own (on the left).  Shame on you Carnival for nearly giving me a heart attack.
